Makeup policy for group class

At Mikas Tennis Academy, we offer makeup classes as a benefit for clients actively enrolled in their class subscription. Since the subscription secures your spot in class on an ongoing basis, it also keeps you eligible for makeups when life gets in the way.

Here’s why we require an active subscription for makeups:

✅ Your Spot is Reserved: The recurring subscription guarantees your spot each week, and in return, it keeps you eligible for a makeup if you provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

🔄 Flexible, But Fair: We know things come up, so the 24-hour notice policy ensures that we can offer the makeup spot to someone else — keeping things fair and organized for all players.

📅 For Current Players Only: Makeup classes are designed as a perk for active students who are currently participating in our programs. If a subscription is paused or canceled, it means the reserved spot and the associated benefits (like makeups) are no longer active.

💖 Consistency Matters: Regular participation helps players progress and makes scheduling smoother for everyone — the makeup system is in place to help you stay on track while also keeping class sizes balanced.

🎾 Use Makeups Toward Camp: Want to join one of our camps? You can apply your makeup class credits toward camp fees! We’ll simply apply the value of your makeup classes, and you’ll just pay the difference, if needed — giving you even more flexibility.
