BEGINNER / INTERMEDIATE CLASSES

Tiny Tots (Ages 3-5)

A fun and engaging introduction to tennis for our youngest players! This class focuses on developing basic motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and fundamental tennis movements through games and interactive drills. Using smaller courts and softer balls, kids build confidence while having a blast on the court.

Junior Champs (Ages 6-8)

Designed for young beginners, this class teaches the basics of stroke technique, footwork, and rallying. Through structured drills and fun games, players learn the fundamentals of tennis while improving their agility and coordination. The emphasis is on developing a love for the game while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.

Pre-Teens (Ages 9-11)

This class is ideal for both beginners and players transitioning to a more structured tennis environment. Participants develop consistency in their strokes, improve footwork, and learn the basics of match play. Players in this age group are encouraged to attend twice a week for optimal improvement and can progress to Pre-Teens Level 2 as they advance.

Teens (Ages 12-15)

Perfect for beginners and intermediate players looking to refine their skills. This class emphasizes technique, strategy, and match play fundamentals. Teens will develop their rallying ability, serve consistency, and competitive mindset in a fun and supportive setting.

Intermediate Classes

For players who have a solid understanding of tennis basics and are ready to advance their skills. These classes focus on stroke mechanics, court positioning, match strategy, and point play. Participants will be challenged through structured drills, match simulations, and fitness training to improve their overall game.

High-Performance Tennis Program

For advanced junior players who compete in tournaments, our High-Performance Program at Mikas Tennis Academy is designed to take their game to the next level. This elite training environment focuses on technical precision, tactical strategy, mental toughness, and physical conditioning to prepare players for high-level competition.

Program Highlights:

  • Small group training (maximum 4 players per class) for personalized coaching

  • Intensive stroke development to refine technique and shot consistency

  • Tactical play and strategy training for match preparation

  • Footwork and fitness conditioning to improve speed, endurance, and agility

  • Mental toughness coaching to build confidence and resilience on the court

  • Live ball drills & match play to simulate real tournament scenarios

Entry Requirements:

  • Players must be at an advanced level and actively competing in USTA or other tournaments

  • Coach approval is required before joining (evaluation by Mika)

  • Prepayment is required, and class participation days must be pre-approved

  • Strict 48-hour rescheduling policy; missed classes without proper notice will be forfeited
