Mikas Tennis Academy SMS Program

1. When you opt-in you can expect to receive SMSs from us to organise your free trial as well as notifications to confirm your lessons with us.

2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text "STOP" to the shortcode. Upon sending "STOP," we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

3. If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or reach out directly to contact@mikastennisacademy.com

4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. As always, message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

MIKAS TENNIS ACADEMY CANCELLATION POLICY

1. Notification Requirement:

  • All cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled lesson time

  • Cancellations should be communicated through our app plan2play or by texting 310-694-2214

2. Late Cancellation Fee:

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled lesson will incur a charge equivalent to the full price of the lesson.

  • This fee compensates our dedicated coaches for their time and ensures that we can maintain the quality of our services.

3. No-Show Policy:

  • Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without prior cancellation will be considered a no-show.

  • No-shows will be charged the full price of the missed lesson.

4. Emergencies and Exceptions:

  • We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel within 48 hours due to an unforeseen emergency, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss the situation.

  • Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the academy's management.

5. Rescheduling:

  • If you wish to reschedule a lesson, please do so at least 48 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your new preferred time and date, subject to availability.

6. Weather-Related Cancellations:

  • In the event of inclement weather or unsafe conditions, lessons may be cancelled by the academy without charge.

  • We will notify you as soon as possible in such cases.

7. Refunds:

  • Refunds for canceled lessons will not be provided. However, credits for future lessons may be offered at the

academy's discretion.

8. Continuous Cancellations:

  • Repeated cancellations may result in the loss of your preferred time slot or termination of lessons at the academy's discretion.

9. Camps:

  • Cancellations are permitted within a two-week period. Following cancellation, you will receive credit that can be applied to future camp sessions. Please note that refunds are not available.

It is designed to ensure that all students have fair access to lessons and that our coaches can maintain a stable and effective schedule.
